The Skovva awning is designed for those who are looking for a seriously stylish yet robust drive away van awning. With a beautiful curvy shape - likened to a Bedouin or Stretch tent, our awnings have an earthy, old school look with a modern twist, and attract attention wherever they go.
Skovva are tensile structures, meaning ‘held out under tension to become tight or drum-like’. The tensioned canvas becomes both stable and strong; the curves mean that these awnings shrug off the rain, directing water away from the edges and down the wings. Whilst open sided, Skovva remain very sheltered and dry beneath.
The Skovva connects by sliding on to your van's awning rail. A standard sized awning rail should fit our awning but if you are in any doubt then please do get in touch to check. If you do not have an awning rail and wish to fit one we recommend the lovely folks at camper essentials, who sell kits that you can fit yourself. When not attached to a van, Skovva can also be used as freestanding awnings, making them really versatile. You can use them as a beautiful canopy in your garden.... we've even taken ours to the beach!! If you need help when ordering your Skovva, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Each Skovva comes packed in two sturdy bags. Total packed weight 35kg.
One canvas bag measures 70/45/30cms and contains :
1 x awning
1 x joining strip
1 x PVC sleeve containing 8 x large pegs (16mm diameter steel, 40cm length) and 4 x small pegs (8mm diameter steel, 20cm length)One PVC sleeve measures 140/25cms and contains:
4 x 7.2 ft wooden poles (4.5cm diameter) in 8 half sections.
